Hello, I’m Dr. Suzanne Gendel. I grew up in Rochester, New York and attended college at Rochester Institute of Technology where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in 1990. After that I attended the State University of NewYork at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1994, and went on to do a General Practice Residency in New York City at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx. After working as an associate dentist for a couple of years, my husband and I relocated to Massachusetts in 1996. I have 1 daughter, 2 guinea pigs and a small rescue dog. I enjoy cooking, gardening, reading, walking my dog, and spending time with my family.

I prefer to practice dentistry in a group with other dentists, because of the camaraderie and shared knowledge that benefits doctors and patients alike. I take continuing education and meet with study groups regularly to keep up with the changes in the profession. My favorite thing about practicing​ dentistry is when I can change someone’s life by improving their smile, whether it be by cosmetic dentistry, helping them to feel more at ease in the dental chair, or simply teaching them how to better care for their teeth. Art and Science were always subjects at which I excelled as a student and practicing dentistry has been a great way for me to use those skills to benefit others.
